How to modify a Call Manager queue’s hold music

- 1. After selecting a group, click Call Management.
- 2. Click Business Lines.
- 3. Click Call Manager queue.
- 4. Click on the Call Manager queue you want to modify.
- 5. Click Announcements to see the announcements options.
- 6. Click the Announcements option from the menu on the left.
- 7. Click on the Music on hold tab.
- 8. Check Enable music on Hold for queued calls to have the system play a .wav file for callers while they are on hold.Note: If the Comfort Message is enabled, the Music on Hold audio will fade out during the message.
- 9. Select the Audio option that the Music on Hold feature will use from the choices available.
- Default — Use the system default music.
- Custom — Use a personalized message of your choosing.
- 10. If you select Custom, select an audio file (these files are stored in the Announcement Manager).
- 11. Check Use alternate source for internal calls to have the system play a separate .wav file for internal calls.
- 12. Select the Internal audio option that the Music on Hold feature will use for internal calls from the choices available.
- Default — Use the system default music.
- Custom — Use a personalized message of your choosing.
- 13. If you select Custom, select an audio file (these files are stored in the Announcement Manager).
- 14. To save your changes, click Save and you will be returned to the previous page. To exit without saving, click Cancel.
