The Contacts tab gives you quick access to all of your Bell Total Connect contacts. Touch on a person’s name to view their contact card. From there you can start a chat, make an audio or video call, and more. Your contact list also provides an at-a-glance view of each person’s availability status.
Using the drop-down menu at the top of the screen, you can choose to view all of your contacts in a single list or only the presence-enabled contacts who are currently online. You can also view two other contact directories; your Local address book (contacts stored in your mobile device) and your Directory (contacts listed in your company directory).
When you launch the app for the first time, your contact list will be empty. Use the directory to find people and add them to your list. Contacts can also be added manually by tapping the Add (+) button in the navigation bar.
Any contact can be marked as a favourite so they appear in the Favourites section at the top of your contact list. Simply open the person’s contact card and then tap the star icon.
Note: The app shows contact groups created in the Bell Total Connect desktop app. Contacts groups cannot be created or edited from the mobile app.
