Presence overview

Presence is an easy and effective way to see your co-workers and let others know when you are on the phone, out of the office or at your desk.

Use Presence to:

  • See the online status of other users on the network.
  • Let other know your status

You must add the other users to your personal contacts to view their presence status.
The userʼs presence status appears with an icon and text.

Change your status:
To change your presence status, click your current status and select another from the drop-down menu.

Add a note to your status:
Click on New Note… to associate a note with either the Connected or Unavailable status. The note is automatically published once you create it.
