  • Depending on the type of communication used (chat messaging, audio call, video call), the communication dialog box displays controls such as:
  • Chat window and history
  • Profile display
  • Hang Up
  • Hold
  • Mute
  • Volume control
  • Call from phone
  • Video call
  • Dial-pad
  • File transfer
    • This option only appears when the contact is online. You can transfer a file by selecting the File transfer button and browsing for the file on your computer, or dragging and dropping a file into the instant messaging communication window.
